Flooring work is physically demanding. When your muscles cry out, turn to your random orbital sander! A lamb’s wool polishing pad and a willing friend are a match made in massage heaven.
You can use a compass to scribe an irregular line onto vinyl sheet flooring. Line your material up parallel to the wall and set the compass to a spread greater than the largest distance between them. Mark along the length of the material while keeping the compass point in contact with the wall and you’ll be ready to cut for a perfect fit.
Did you know? Plywood sub-floors are strong because plywood is composed of an odd number of bonded wood-veneer sheets with the grain of each sheet at right angles to those above and below.
After rinsing your garden tools, keep them clean and rust free by storing them in a bucket filled with sand mixed with 2 cups of motor oil.
